How do you make a movie format like “Contagion’s” viral scare genre even tougher to watch? Throw a love story in the mix. Check out the trailer for Ewan McGregor & Eva Green’s latest film, “Perfect Sense”.

Brand new trailer and poster for Brian Singer’s “Jack the Giant Killer”. After two Snow White films, a Jack & the Beanstalk film and a fables TV show one can probably surmise there seems to be a trend in the media right now.

Paramount Pictures 100th Anniversary Logo
Paramount will be using the above logo for all of 2012 to celebrate their 100th anniversary. After 2012 they will use the same logo with the “100 years” tag removed. I like the update to the style and quality. As a design nerd I give my stamp of approval. Check out the photo below for the history of Paramount’s logos over the years.

Top 5 Comic Book Movie Deaths
MTV put a list like this together and I felt obligated to reply with my own take on the matter. Especially since all of theirs were completely lame. FYI, there are massive spoilers ahead so make sure you know what you are doing before you read this list. 5. Every Evil Ex-Boyfriend (Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World) It’s not the way they die that is awesome, although being cut in half by a...

An Award for an Unseen Actor?
Oscar buzz has sparked up again for next year’s Academy Awards Ceremony and one of the most interesting stories going around is about Fox’s petition to get Andy Serkis a nomination for his work in “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”. Mr. Serkis is never actually seen in the film but his motion capture acting is what brought the film’s most beloved character, Caesar, to...
